Personal Training is a great way to achieve your health and fitness goals. Your personal trainer is there to encourage you every step of the way, by customising a programme to suit your lifestyle and needs.

At functionalPT our Personal Trainers will work with you to achieve your goals, whether they are to lose weight, gain more stamina, increase energy levels or simply feel better about your body. Each personal training session is individually programmed to match your goals, incorporating exercises that you enjoy!

It's not all about gym workouts, sessions will vary including, indoors, outdoors, circuits, weights, boxing and flexibility. Our trainers will constantly monitor and create an environment where you want to achieve and have fun doing it.

One - one weight loss programme

Working with one of our trainers, you will bin the fad diets, potions and pills which promise miracle weight loss. Your one - one training sessions in the gym will be mixed with 'no sweat' sessions where we will devise a healthy eating plan individualised for your life. Our guidelines and ideas will help you achieve a more balanced, wholesome way of eating, give you more energy and put you on the path to long term weight loss.

'Weigh To Go™'

Our 8 week slimming programme, Weigh To Go™, is a group session which combines gym workouts with nutritional workshops to help you achieve a flatter stomach and lasting weight loss. During the course of the 8 week programme the workshops will include topics such as:
  • The role of monitoring in successful weight loss
  • Guide to daily food choices
  • How to increase daily physical activity
  • Portion Control
