Success Story! Tony Takes on New York
Tony is one of our clients who has achieved great things. He is going to attempt the New York Marathon in November for Marie Curie Cancer Care. This is his stroy, please help.
"Five years ago, I could not run around the block without stopping to catch my breath let alone contemplate running 26 miles. I have now been training hard since the middle of June, four or five times a week. My longest run to date has been 20 miles and I am averaging over 40 miles per week . I have two x 20-mile runs to attempt before the start of October. As you might have guessed, beer is currently off-limits for me, as is my regular KFC intake. I have lost nearly 3 stones in weight and have extremely sore legs !! Can you hear the broken violin ??
You have probably guessed what is coming next ..................
I will be running the NY Marathon in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care, a hugely worthwhile cause. I would be extremely grateful if you could consider making a small (or even a large) donation that will help me reach my target of £5000.
I appreciate this is an ambitious goal and it would be wonderful if you could lend your support. Any contribution is very much appreciated."
